A J.J Runkel Solingen made 1796 light cavalry sword, this is in excellent condition for a Napoleonic period sword with an amazing condition blade, the grip has a small amount of leather missing and has had a bit of woodworm but is completely original. Scabbard is original to the sword as shows an expected amount patina, it’s free from holes and dents. Overall a good desirable sword.
