A very rare German ww1 trench knife. No makers but acid etched Nahkampfer which translates to close quarters or melee. This is a rare knife I have seen similar in my references but nothing exactly the same. The blade is clip point style profile. It has a none operable bayonet slot. I suspect the scabbard may have been repainted or at least a bit chipped, but otherwise an excellent knife.
